Location: Los Gatos, CA (On-site)

Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 per year

We provide evidence based hyperbaric oxygen therapy for a wide range of conditions, including non healing wounds, radiation injury, and sudden hearing loss. Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee the daily operations of our growing healthcare clinic. This leadership role is responsible for operational performance, staff management, financial oversight, regulatory compliance, facility management, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on healthcare leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of improving operational efficiency while building strong teams.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Strategy

  • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations to ensure efficient and patient-centered workflows
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives

Team Leadership & Management

  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop administrative and clinical staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and support employee development
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable workplace culture
  • Ensure compliance with California employment laws and HR practices

Facility Oversight & Safety

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant clinical environment
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, vendor relationships, and facility repairs
  • Ensure readiness of treatment rooms and patient areas
  • Manage safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and incident reporting

Financial & Business Operations

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Monitor clinic performance, revenue, and expenses
  • Collaborate with billing teams regarding claims and reimbursement
  • Review financial reports and recommend cost-effective improvements
  • Manage vendor contracts, purchasing, and inventory

Patient Experience & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure a high standard of patient care and satisfaction
  • Address escalated patient concerns promptly and professionally
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and compliance audits
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient privacy standards

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Maintain operational documentation and compliance records
  • Coordinate with auditors, inspectors, and regulatory agencies

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directly oversees administrative and clinical staff

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of operations leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience managing healthcare financials, billing, and reimbursement processes
  • Proven ability to manage teams and improve operational performance
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, EHR platforms, and workflow optimization
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of California labor laws and healthcare compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in functional medicine
  • Experience managing multi-site healthcare operations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to balance multiple tasks
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • On-site role in a clinical enviroment
  • Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs)
  • May involve moving equipment and responding to urgent operational needs

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $125,000 – $175,000 per year (depending on experience)
